 QUESTIONNNAIRE UPDATE - 20th Jan. 2008
Minimize

In the next few days a copy of the questionnaire would have dropped through your letterbox. This is it – your chance to have a say on a multitude of local issues. If you have not done so already, we urge you to get ticking those boxes!

When you have completed the questionnaire please return it to one of the collection boxes situated in Stoke Gabriel Garage, The Post Office, Stoke Gabriel Village Store (Bernie’s), The Country Gallery, the School, the Pre-School or The Church.  The boxes will be removed very soon after Monday 4th February.

If you need any help with completing the questionnaire, or its collection, please contact us on either 0845 8674919 or email info@stokegabrielparishplan.org.uk and we will get in touch.

What next? All the responses will be sent off for independent analysis and collation – a process that will take up to 6 weeks. After this we will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the findings and how they will inform the development of the final “Parish Plan”. At this stage we will also be looking for volunteers to step forward and champion any of the issues highlighted.

PARISH PLAN UPDATE - September 2007

The Parish Plan Questionnaire is now taking shape. This will be delivered to all households in the autumn, and is your next chance to influence the final plan – a plan covering all aspects of Parish life that you want to keep unchanged or improve.

The final document will be produced at a grand launch where the emphasis will be on looking for interested parties to take forward the popular mandates resulting from this consultation process.

Be it preschool facilities, sports areas, speeding cars, absent police or dog fouling, if it is raised as an issue, then it is over to Parishioners to sort it out.

In this vein the Plan Steering Group strive for absolute objectivity – we only aim to reflect what Parishioners are telling us.

As a point of clarification from our August report of 20 Top Topics, the feedback saw Yarde Orchard as an invaluable asset in the village which many would like to see preserved and not available for any developments.  The current owners would like to make clear that they have no plans to develop this land so the focus would be on preserving its long term future.

The consultations in the village hall in June saw two lucky winners of a bottle of wine, but one goes unclaimed - please come forward ticket number 32!

In the meantime please keep the emails and phone messages coming to our dedicated hotlines - all this information will be put in the collating melting pot.
